A Brief History of JTV
Jewelry TV was launched in 1993 and its first live show was featured from a studio in Greeneville. In the days of its ‘youth’, the television network provided a range of collectibles such as coins. Knives, quilts, health and beauty care products had formed part of the shopping channel. However, it narrowed down to jewelry and gemstones ever since. In 2006, the Shop At Home associated stations saw a replacement of Shop At Home network with the Jewelry Television following the closure of the former channel. JTV started being broadcast in high definition from October 2008 onwards.
