Bloomberg Japan had ceased to broadcast by 30th of April, 2009. After the collapse, the network has now been restored by the Bloomberg Asia (International). However, the website language print newsroom of Japanese language continued to operate as usual. In June, 2009, in cooperation with the BS-Fuji Television, several small on-air segments came into being. By the month of October, 2009, multiple other segments along with the Tokyo Broadcast System (TBS) got included.

The channel was found showing up biases in favor of the Labor Party which actually occurred due to the breach of the British Law. As per the law, a channel should allot equal time for all the foremost political parties. Instead, Bloomberg covered the Labor Party launch with such manifestation and prominence that failed miserably to counterbalance the air time for the Liberal democrats and Conservatives.
