Obviously, BenQ are set on expanding their mobile handsets portfolio even if their collaboration with Siemens didn't turn out right. The BenQ M7 will be their latest handset once it's officially announced (expected in November).

The BenQ M7 builds upon the successful Siemens M-series that included handsets with increased weather resistance back in the day. The new handset features the same splash and dust resistant body and is 3G-enabled. It sports a 262K color TFT display with a QVGA resolution plus a 2 megapixel main camera and a secondary one for video calls. Among the other cool features of the compact M7 is the GPS receiver with support for the A-GPS service (Assisted GPS). There is also Bluetooth support and a microSD card slot.
