More to come from Sony Ericsson - K810, K550, W880, W610
Sony Ericsson made the fans happy today announcing several new mobiles - the Cyber-shot K810 and K550 and the Walkman W880 and W610.
The Sony Ericsson K810 is the next generation of cameraphones by Sony Ericsson - it builds on the success of the K800 model. Upgrades over the existent K800 are not hardware but more software-related. The Sony Ericsson K810 will be equipped with a Photo Fix application for optimizing brightness and contrast and will also have illuminated side camera keys - a cool feature that Nokia N73 has. The hardware functionalities have remained pretty much the same - tri-band GSM/GPRS support, 3G networks support with video calls and a 3.2 megapixel Cyber-shot camera with auto focus and a Xenon flash.
In much the same way that K800 had its twin EDGE brother in the face of K790, now the K810 model also an EDGE twin - the Sony Ericsson K818 which will be targeted at the Chinese market. The Sony Ericsson K810 and the K818 will be available within Q2 2007 in two colors: Noble Blue and Golden Ivory.

It would also boast quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, a Memory Stick Micro M2 card slot, and a FM radio - all that is housed in a body with a thickness of mere 14 mm.
The K550 would also have a twin brother - the Sony Ericsson K510im which would be the first i-mode enabled mobile bearing the Cyber-shot logo and would try to build on the success of the Sony Ericsson K610im. The Sony Ericsson K550 would become commercially available to selected markets in Q1 2007 in Jet Black or Pearl White color combinations.
