Apple iPad 2 is not supportive of 4G. It comes with three different versions, which are WiFi+3G for Verizon, WiFi+3G for AT&T and WiFi version. The Verizon version is supportive of EVDO Rev. A, while the AT&T version supports the quad band UMTS/ HSDPA/ HSUPA and GSM/ EDGE quad band. All these technologies are 3G and there is no support to HSPA+ and LTE, which are 4G technologies.
iPad 2 is definitely not the perfect tablet PC available in the market. There is a lot to improve in terms of OS performance, connectivity, quality of camera, USB port, etc. There is no big improvement from the previous version of iPad and many people may choose to ignore the device because of that.
